The Office of Instructional Design & Development (IDD) partners with faculty to create innovative, engaging learning experiences. We design courses and interactive resources that are ready for delivery and that elevate teaching, boost student engagement, and support meaningful learning objectives across modalities.

LockDown Browser Now Available at UNC!

We’re thrilled to share some great news—UNC has launched an institution-wide license for LockDown Browser! This powerful tool helps faculty ensure a more secure testing environment within Canvas by preventing students from printing, copying, browsing other websites, or accessing other applications while taking an exam.

With LockDown Browser, faculty can confidently administer online exams, knowing that students remain focused and within the designated testing environment.
