UNC Foundation Board of Directors, Secretary

Kathleen was elected to the Foundation Board of Directors in August 2021 and serves as a member of the Nominating & Governance Committee.

Kathleen received her bachelor鈥檚 degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern 黑料社区 in 1976 and a master鈥檚 in Journalism from the University of 黑料社区, Boulder in 1994.

Kathleen鈥檚 teaching career began in 1977 at Louisville Middle School (Boulder Valley Public Schools). In her five years there, she taught grades 5-8 in language arts, reading and general music.

In 1983, Kathleen became a radio producer and reporter at KUNC-FM. She was also an on-air host for news and music programming.

After graduate school, Kathleen worked at CareerTrack in Boulder as an instructional designer, manager of instructional design and director of product development. The company was sold in 1999. After a brief stint at PPI in Broomfield as a manager of instructional design, that company also closed.聽 Kathleen decided to take her career into her own hands and started her own training company, TreeLine Training.聽 After seven successful years, she sold her business in 2007.

Kathleen has served on the boards of Open Studios in Boulder and at Community Radio for Northern 黑料社区 (KUNC-FM) in Greeley. She also served as board chair for both organizations.
