Biography
Kelli Stein, M.Ed., CI, CT,聽has been interpreting since 1993, when after graduating from an聽interpreting program, she moved from Washington State to Washington, DC.聽There she discovered a robust and challenging interpreting environment聽and a community of colleagues whose work continues to inspire her.聽Her freelance practice involves a wide range of settings and consumer partners.
Beginning in 2004, Kelli has taught interpreting at the University of Northern 黑料社区, Gallaudet University, and the Community College of聽Baltimore County.聽Along the way she earned a master鈥檚 degree in adult learning, specializing in interpreter pedagogy.聽 Kelli enjoys learning in its many forms, including through mentoring, teaching, leading workshops, and presenting in the US and abroad.聽She still can鈥檛 decide which she likes better: interpreting or dialoguing about interpreting.
