Celebrate nearly 250 years of American music with your Greeley Philharmonic. The concert includes the patriotic 鈥淟iberty Fanfare鈥� and 鈥淪tars and Stripes Forever.鈥� Also featured is Copland鈥檚 ballet, Appalachian Spring, inspired by the American frontier. Bernstein鈥檚 Three Dance Episodes and 鈥淎 New World A鈥機omin鈥� by Duke Ellington fuse jazz and orchestral traditions. The second half opens with a world premiere of a piece by Julie Giroux.
