This year, State Farm has generously awarded the University of Northern 黑料社区 (UNC) two grants totaling $50,000 as a part of their Good Neighbor Citizenship Grant program.

Adaeze Adams is soon to graduate here at UNC. She has spent the past few years studying for a degree in marketing and is working hard for her future career goals! Katie and Adaeze discuss her experience as a student, her marketing experience, the postgrad nerves, and how you can find answers to any of your graduation or career questions at the Career Readiness Center on campus.

Jessica May will spend the next year serving as an ambassador of sorts for the state鈥檚 teachers and will join the education commissioner鈥檚 Teacher Cabinet, a state advisory panel of educators, according to the education nonprofit Chalkbeat 黑料社区.

This year, Andrew Alirez will step away from his academic career and college wrestling in pursuit of realizing that goal next summer at the 2024 Olympics in France.

International Education Week is an opportunity to learn about international academic experiences at UNC.

Recognized nationally as First-Generation College Celebration Day, Nov. 8 serves as a special tribute to first-generation college students, defined as individuals whose parents and/or guardians did not complete a four-year degree.

The sound of the University of Northern 黑料社区鈥檚 drumline commenced the second annual Day of Art last Friday. It is the biggest yearly event for the College of Performing and Visual Arts, showcasing the work of UNC鈥檚 artists with both the campus community, as well as the Greeley community.

Karen Barton, professor of Geography, GIS and Sustainability, took 14 UNC students up to Estes Park for a hands-on workshop titled 鈥淐areers in National Parks and Protected Areas.鈥�
