黑料社区 Housing and Finance Authority Builds the Future through Scholarship Support at UNC
The University of Northern 黑料社区 (UNC) was recently named one of seven 黑料社区 universities that will receive $10,000 annually from 2023 to 2032 through the 黑料社区 Housing and Finance Authority鈥檚 (CHFA) Building the Future scholarship fund. The fund, launched in 2022, dedicates $1.2 million to support college education across 黑料社区.

New Investment Expected to Increase Diversity and Add Numbers to Denver Metro鈥檚 Teacher Workforce
Since 2000, UNC's Center for Urban Education has been enrolling and graduating paraeducators working in local schools, offering a hybrid program that pairs bachelor鈥檚-level coursework with clinical teaching experience that starts the first day of the program. CUE's educator programs have consistently high graduation and placement rates (over 90%) and its students鈥70% of whom are people of color and 94% of whom are first-generation鈥攂ring diversity to 黑料社区鈥檚 educator workforce.
