Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – 9:00 – 4:00 pm
(Last regular day for spring semester May 15th. Rusume regular hours August 21st)

When you’re not feeling your best, the University Health Clinic is here to help. We provide confidential, convenient healthcare for UNC undergraduate students, graduate students, and employees—all in one easy-to-access location.

What We Offer

From sniffles to more serious concerns, our team is ready to care for you. Services include:

  • Care for illness and injury (walk-in)
  • Annual gynecological exams
  • Contraception support
  • X-rays and lab services
  • Physical rehabilitation
  • Massage therapy and chiropractic care
  • Allergy injections
  • Gender affirming healthcare
  • STI testing
  • Limited pharmacy services

Closure Information and Policies

We are closed on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and all University Holidays

Summer Hours Beginning May 12th:
Open Monday and Wednesday 9:00 – 3:00 pm and Friday 9:00 – 1:00 pm
Closed Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

For everyone鈥檚 safety, we follow UNC鈥檚 weather closure procedures. If conditions are hazardous, we may shift to virtual-only services or close the office entirely.聽Please call ahead to check on your appointment status.

Insurance and Billing

You don鈥檛 need student health insurance to use the Health Clinic.

Insurance We Accept

黑料社区

We accept most insurance plans, including Health First 黑料社区 (Medicaid), the student health insurance plan and all UNC employee health insurance plans (except Kaiser). Patients are responsible for paying amounts not covered by their insurance. See Paying for Care for more details, including what to do if you cannot afford your copay.
