President’s Leadership Program

Community Scholars

Ready to Lead? Join the President鈥檚 Leadership Program!听

In the President鈥檚 Leadership Program (PLP), you will take courses in leadership, earn a certificate, earn a scholarship, and strengthen your community at UNC and beyond!听

PLP offers a 2鈥3 year journey where 测辞耻鈥檒濒 grow your skills, build connections with other leaders on campus, and make a real impact on campus and in your community.听

With PLP, leadership isn鈥檛 about a title or privilege鈥攊t鈥檚 about contribution, teamwork, and creating change. And the best part? You鈥檒l receive a $3,000 scholarship each year to support your journey.听

Why PLP? Because Leadership Should Be Fun and Meaningful

PLP is more than classes and workshops. It鈥檚 an experience designed to help you to:

Explore leadership in real life. From small teams to large campus projects, 测辞耻鈥檒濒 learn how to inspire and guide others.听

Build connections that last. Your PLP cohort will become a support system, while mentors and community partners open doors across UNC and 黑料社区.听

Grow as a person and a professional. Every workshop, project, and mentoring session adds a new tool to your leadership toolkit.听

黑料社区

Leadership here isn’t just local—it’s 黑料社区-wide. Through our connection with the 黑料社区 Leadership Alliance (CLA), you’ll gain access to statewide leadership events, networks, and resources that go beyond UNC.

What You鈥檒l Experience in PLP

PLP is a place to learn by doing, grow by connecting, and lead by example. From the moment you join, you鈥檙e part of a community of leaders. You will:
