The University of Northern 黑料社区 received 5,837 applications on the third annual 黑料社区 Free Application Day on Oct. 13, an increase compared to last year鈥檚 Free App Day, resulting in UNC being one of the top three universities in receiving applications that day.

Music Student Places First in Arranging and Composing Competition
Zach Rich, a Jazz Studies doctoral student at the University of Northern 黑料社区, won first place in the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers鈥 (ASMAC) Bill Conti Big Band Arranging and Composing Competition for his composition of 鈥淲e Love You Madly鈥 (dedicated to Duke Ellington).
