Welcome to UNC! We’re excited to help you get started. After you’ve submitted your confirmation deposit, you’ll be able to complete your housing contract. (It may take up to one business day after paying your deposit before you can access the housing application.)

Ready to lock in your spot on campus? Here’s how to complete your housing contract step‑by‑step:

  • Log into the UNC Housing Portal using your MyUNC login.
  • Find “Your Housing Applications” and click “View Applications.”
  • Click “Apply Now” next to the contract you want to submit.
  • Answer all required questions and click “Save and Continue.”
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to go to the payment page.
  • Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen and get an email sent to your UNC BearMail.
  • You’re all set!

Important Dates for Spring Start and Transfer Students

  • October 1, 8 a.m. MDT: Contract opens

We’re excited to welcome you to campus! Early move-in is a great option if you’d like to get settled before the semester begins.

Before You Start your Early Arrival Request

  • Apply for housing and select a space
  • Know the date you need to arrive
  • Know the reason you are arriving early

Completing the Contract

  • Log into the UNC Housing Portal using your MyUNC login.
  • On the left side of Home page, click “Early Arrival Request” under “Forms”
  • Enter the date the form is being submitted at the top of the page and the date you will be arriving
  • Select the reason you are arriving early
  • Carefully review the “Terms and Conditions”
  • Select “I Agree” to submit
  • You’re done! You can view your completed form under “My Forms” on the UNC Housing Portal

Important Dates for Early Arrival

  • June 22: Fall Early Move-In Request available
  • August 14-18: Fall Early Move-In
  • December 1: Spring Early Move-In Request available
  • January 4-7: Spring Early Move-In

Just a block from the University Center, Arlington Park is ideal for graduate, continuing and transfer students. Live close to campus with the space and flexibility you want. (Twelve‑month contracts are billed in three installments: fall, spring and summer.)

  • Choose your apartment type: Pick the layout that works best for you.
  • Have a roommate request? Create a roommate group after you apply.

  • Click “Apply Now” next to the Arlington Park contract you want to submit.
  • Answer all required questions and lick “Save and Continue.”
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to move to the payment page.
  • Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen and get an email to your UNC BearMail.
  • And just like that, your Arlington Park home is officially yours!

  • November 24: Contract opens for renewals and new-to-Arlington Park students 
  • January 14: Last day to renew the same apartment  
  • January 26: Browse units to select at the lottery  
  • February 2: Apartment lottery open to all students

    • February 1-28: you’re in Priority Group C
    • After March 1: you’re in Priority Group D
  • March 16: Priority Group A room selection opens 
  • March 18: Priority Group B room selection opens  
  • March 20: Priority Group C room selection opens  
  • March 23: Priority Group D room selection opens  
  • July 15: UNC begins assigning remaining students  
  • August 19: Fall semester move-in!

  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to go to the payment page.
  • And just like that, your summer housing is locked in!

  • Find the “2026 Summer – Incoming Student” or “2026 Summer – Continuing Students” housing contract and click “Apply Now.”
  • Answer all required questions and click “Save and Continue.”
  • Review the Terms and Conditions and confirm your contract.
  • Click “Pay deposit with TouchNet” to move to the payment page.
  • Once your deposit is paid, you’ll see a confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email in your UNC BearMail.
  • And just like that, your summer housing is set!
